Google+ is a dynamic merging of all of Google’s many services in one open network. It is similar to other social networks but does have important difference and terminology.
Google+ Circles:
This is the way you organize your contacts – you can add circles and label them whatever makes sense to you. Let’s say you want to have all the media contacts in one circle you would then label the circle “Media Contacts." When you want to send out messages to only media, you would access that circle and send.
When you want to send messages, you can decide which contacts/circles. You can have as many circles with as many labels as you want. You can add one person to any number of circles. In addition to customizing your circles to fit with how you interact in real life; you can also personalize how your profile appears to each circle you create, i.e.; relationship information can be kept separate from a work profile.
At the top of your page, you can see the labels of the different circles you have formed. When you click on individual names, you will see the stream of posts from each specific circle. You can also put descriptions in circles. See graphic below.
Stream:
This is exactly like your news-feed in Facebook. One centralized place of shared content by the connections you have made contact with (Put in your circles)
Hangouts and Chat:
This is live social networking. Connecting with people who are online right this minute, instant messaging, lived video chat or group conversations. You can communicate directly and instantly with people you invite they can be in your circles or not.
Communities
Google+ communities are like a group or forum, that bring like-minded people together. They can be private by invitation only or public where anyone can join. Groups are specific interests anything from cooking to environmental issues.

LEARNING GOOGLE+
Google+ had a slow start, but it is fast becoming one of my
favorite social media sites. Let me make a prediction – I believe it will
surpass Facebook soon. I say that
because I am finding Google+ much more flexible and interactive than Facebook.
The circle system really lets you target who you want to get messages to and
Google+ does not withhold messages and send them to who they think wants to see
them.
It is a bit of a learning curve but isn't everything? Remember trying to
learn Facebook or Twitter?
Below I have outlined learning basics… we
will start with the screen, and I will be writing posts and showing video of another
Google+ training as time goes on.
Learning the Google+ Screen
On the top left hand side, you’ll see a Home button. Click on it and you’ll be able to access:
- Home
Your news-feed – what your friends are posting - Profile
Your Landing Page – what others see when they access your page. - People
Find people to follow and see who is following you - Photos
All the photo’s you have uploaded - Communities
See communities you are part of. Invitations to new communities or make your own. Just like groups on Facebook. You can gather to chat with people about specific topics. There area private (invitation only) groups and community groups - Events
Plan an event and post it – or find an event you want to go to - Hangouts
Video conferencing can be viewed on any device. Live video on – air broadcasts for private or public meetings. - Pages
This is a portal to all the pages your manage (business pages etc) - Local
This is connected to your location and shows you relevant businesses that you can check out and/or review. - Settings
Manage your notifications, privacy, circles etc.
I hope this makes it a little clearer for all of you who are new to Google+. - Now that you know how to navigate go out there and network until your heart is content.

Create Simple Videos for YouTube.
I have found a tool that allows people to take an article and make it into a video. They have different templates you can customize – and it is a lot of fun. The one thing that I would say is you would not want to put the full article in the video creator because too many words clutter the message of the video.
Take the general idea of your article and then condense it down to the basics of the article. I have made a lot of these videos for clients, but you can make them yourself using this tool Article Video Robot . Once you make a video you can also download it to Slide Share, and it will automatically upload the slides to your account.
Their advertisement says you can make an article in 2 minutes, or less I beg to differ. If you want a good video make sure you use the proper images (it does let you upload) and music. It probably took me about two hours to gather the graphics, simplify the article create it and edit it. Once created I always find something’s that I want to change. I then upload them to YouTube and can put them on any social media site I want.
See the sample below.
You can do your own voice over: See sample below (client video)
You can also use electronic voices if you prefer: See client video below
If you have little or no experience it may be something you want to check out
You can try Article Video Robot for FREE.
If you decide to give it a try, drop me a line I would love to hear what you think...
